Inspired by designs sent to overseas manufacturers during my Natori co-op, Persephone offers an alternate means of fabrication—sourcing thrifted and up-cycled silk remnants to produce the same pieces sustainably. The aim of this collection is to express how luxury shouldn’t be synonymous with brand-new. There is great beauty and nostalgic charm in a garment that has lived many lives.
