Assisting the head lingerie/sleepwear designer at Natori in NYC, I conducted trend, color & consumer research for upcoming seasons to compile into moodboards. I designed an eye mask and bridal bag which went into production. I was tasked with prototyping a variety of chemise designs featuring geometric cut outs. (2020)

spring ‘21 trend+color research

I conducted trend and mark research for women’s lingerie and sleepwear. I analyzed my findings and created mood, textile, and color boards to supplement my suggested design direction. I presented this research during merchandising and concept team meetings alongside the head designer.

chemise development

The head designer tasked me with applying my research to chemise ideations focusing on an identified trend of cut-out details. To incorporate the Natori aesthetic, these details were to be geometric and symmetrical, sleek and classic. From my sketches a handful were chosen for me to prototype. I experimented digitally with construction before draping and creating patterns for the designs.
